Nowadays, smartphones are everywhere. Increasingly important in the exchange of information between people and practically indispensable in personal and work activities, indistinctly, these small portable computers will very soon be so powerful that they will be able to run several applications at the same time, like regular computers.

With that in mind, MHA once again took the lead in terms of technology applied to logistics, and its arMHAzena® platform already operates in an Android version. In this modern version, all operations are currently performed on a data collector, bar code, or RFID reading, and soon voice can be performed on any cell phone, collector, or tablet with Android.

As a result of MHA’s heavy investments in the mobility of its platform for mobile devices, the arMHAzena® application for Android runs on any Android platform and on all brands and models of smartphones, collectors, and tablets, whose camera starts to function as a code reader bars, both linear and 2D, two-dimensional, and QR-code.

In addition to the flexibility provided by using the system on the Android platform, we must remember the excellent cost-benefit ratio of investing in a cell phone compared to a data collector. Although the collectors are physically more robust and durable, the use of smartphones ends up being much more affordable.

The arMHAzena® platform, which was already capable of solidly using smartphones to control the delivery and collection of the transport module, now makes the same technology available to be used inside the warehouse in the processes of receipt, quality, storage, handling, checking, inventory, resupply, and shipping.

Soon we will be adding voice technology for Android, where it will be possible to carry out all picking and conferences by voice picking through the Android application.
